'Zio Paperone' ('Uncle Scrooge'). Italian-language version.
Giancarlo Gatti started his career illustrating for the publishing houses Fabbri and Piccoli. He began working as an artist of Disney comics for the publisher Mondadori since 1972. He illustrated numerous 'Donald Duck' and 'Mickey Mouse' stories for Topolino and the other Italian publications, often with scripts by Guido Martina, Jerry Siegel or Nino Russo. He left Mondadori together with Mario Gentilini in 1980, and joined the publishing house Domus. There, Gatti drew 'Turbo e Fabuland' for Più. He then focused on his illustraton work.
