Alex Gregory is an American Hollywood screenwriter and cartoonist, whose drawings have appeared in The New Yorker, Esquire and The Rejection Collection.
Life and career
Between 1996 and 1997, Gregory was a gag writer for the humorous 'Late Show with David Letterman'. He was a scriptwriter, co-producer and executive story editor for sitcoms like 'Frasier', 'The Larry Sanders Show' and 'The Tracy Morgan Show'. Gregory produced five and wrote nine episodes of Mike Judge's animated TV series 'King Of The Hill'. In the late 2010s, he was executive producer of the HBO political satire series 'Veep'. In 2017 and 2018, the show won two consecutive Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Comedy Series".

Inspired since childhood by the work of cartoonist Richard Taylor, Alex Gregory has additionally been active as a cartoonist. Since 1999, his cartoons have appeared regularly in The New Yorker, and later also in Esquire and The Rejection Collection.
