Simon Grennan and Christopher Sperandio have been collaborating on public art projects since the early 1990s. They mostly make comics, using digital techniques. Christopher Sperandio was born in Kingwood, West Virginia and studied at the Universities of Chicago and West Virginia. Simon Grennan was born in London, England in 1965, and studied at the Universities of Chicago and Reading. Their comics are often based on everyday experiences of their friends and colleagues. Some of the titles they created are 'The Peasant and the Devil', 'Buried Treasures', 'Revenge is a Dish Served Cold', 'Ghost on the Stair', 'Nurse's Tales', 'Invisible City', 'The Bradford One Hundred' and 'The Hand and the Word'.
