Although he chose a scientific education at first, Richard Guérineau eventually went to study plastic arts. He met the writer Éric Corbeyran in 1991, with whom he began the trilogy 'L'As de Pique'. In 1997, Guérineau and Corbeyran began the thriller series 'Le Chant des Stryges' at Delcourt.
