Chicharrin (1957)
Classic Mexican comic artist Armando Guerrero Edwards was born in Pachuca, Hidalgo. He began his career drawing for Jueves de Excélsior and Revista de Revistas. He started drawing comics and cartoons in 1926. From 1935 he published the daily comic 'Chicarrín y el Sargento Pistolas' in the Excélsior newspaper Ultimas Noticias. In the 1960s, he created the morbid comic 'Pirucha y Carracataca'.
