Clark S. Haas Jr. was an American cartoonist and animator. Prior to his artistic career, he was a jet pilot. He got into cartooning by assisting Roy Crane on 'Buz Sawyer' and Lyman Young on 'Tim Tyler's Luck', ghosting on both the Sunday pages. Between 1949 and 1951 he made his own comic strip for Wheeler-Nicolson, called 'Sunnyside'. He has done comic book art through studios like Sangor. For Better Publications, he did the 'Brick Bradford' splash pages as well as the 'Kathy' feature.
Between 1957 and 1965 he was head of his own animation studio, Cambria Studios, which produced the animation series 'Clutch Cargo', 'Space Angel', 'Captain Fathom' and 'The New Three Stooges'. In later years, he worked for Hanna-Barbera.
