Dennis Harper is a Texas-based comic artist who was one of the contributors to magazines Austin Stone and Armadilla around 1975, which was part of the Texas underground comix scene around the Armadillo World Head Quarters where Jim Franklin was active. He created one-page comics such as 'The Act' and 'Butterball and Angie', mainly about the music scene.
