Rob Harrell is an American cartoonist and freelance illustrator from Austin, Texas. He has done a lot of editorial and corporate work for clients like American Greetings, the American Bar Association, American Medical News, North American Van Lines, Volkswagen, Audi, Simon and Schuster and Cellular One. He created, wrote and drew the syndicated daily comic strip 'Big Top' from 2002 through 2007. A 'Big Top' collection was published in 2005 by Andrews McMeel Publishing. Since 2009, he has been writing and drawing 'Adam@Home', the popular syndicated newspaper strip created by Brian Basset.
Harrell released his first graphic novel, 'Monster on the Hill', through Top Shelf Productions in 2013. He has been writing and drawing a series of middle grade books for Penguin Kids and his figurative paintings have been shown around the country, including solo shows in San Francisco, Austin and Indianapolis.
