Nelleke Haverhals is a Dutch designer and comic artist. She was born in 1960 as Nelleke Schippers in Oud-Alblas and educated at the NLO Zuid-West Nederland college of education in Delft. She worked as a teacher in arts and crafs for four years. She started drawing herself when her children were born. Her family life-inspired cartoons appeared under titles like 'Altenaatje', 'Een Fraaie Familie' and 'Welles' in several free local papers.
She created her comic strip 'Roos' in 2010, published monthly in Landleven, a magazine focused on the outdoors.
