Monica Hellström is the author of the comic series 'Ärligt Talat' (1995-1998), serialized in the daily Metro. The strip has been collected in two books. Hellström is a graduate in ancient history and culture from Columbia University in New York, where she now lives and works. In 2000, she received an Adamson Award for her entire body of work.
Monica Hellström should not be confused with Danish film producer Monica Hellström (b. 1975).
