Rumble Girls, by Lea Hernandez

Lea Hernandez was born in Alameda, California and raised in Texas. Before she got into comics, she worked at an animation studio and as a short fiction author. She wrote and drew comics for underground fantasy and science fiction comics in the 1980s. She worked as a letterer for Marvel, Eclipse and Viz in the late 1980s. She inked some 'Little Mermaid' comics for Disney and worked on 'Elfquest' at Warp Graphics in the early 1990s. Together with Gail Simone, she created the comic 'Killer Princesses', in a style inspired by Japanese manga. Other titles she did are 'Rumble Girls', 'Cathedral Child', 'Clockwork Angels', and 'Ironclad Petal'.
