You Higuri is a female mangaka born in Osaka. She is known for her mix of bishounen (manga starring handsome male characters) and shounen-ai (male love) manga, like in her serial 'Ludwig II' (1996-98). She had her breakthrough with 'Seimaden' in 1994 and among her other serials are 'Zeus' (1997-98), 'Gorgeous Carat' (1999-2002), 'Cantarella' (2001-), 'Gakuen Heaven' (2004), 'Lost Angel' (1996) and 'Tenshi no Hitsugi' (2000). In her sparetime, she also does doujinshi (fan) manga.
