Bill Holbrook is author of the successful King Features syndicated strips 'On the Fasttrack' and 'Safe Havens'. Holbrook studied Illustration and Visual Design at Aubun University in Alabama. At the same time, he developed his first comic strip and drew editorial cartoons for the The Huntsville Times and The Monroe Journal. After graduation in 1980, Holbrook joined the Atlanta Constitution as an editorial staff artist.
It was after meeting Charles Schulz, that Holbrook started working on a comic of his own. After some first attempts, he finally had success with 'On the Fasttrack' in the early 1984. In October 1989, Holbrook launched his second strip, 'Safe Havens'. It is also distributed by King Features since 1993.
In September 1995, Holbrook started 'Kevin & Kell', a webcomic series about a married rabbit and wolf. It also runs in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Holbrook lives in the Atlanta area.
