Le Souffle Court

Originally from the south-west of France, Alexis Horellou has spent several years in Brussels, Belgium. He is active as a comic author, illustrator and painter. With Fred Tréglia, he made the comic book 'Yzaak', that was released through the Milles Bulles label in 2003. Subsequent comics were 'Faits d'hiver' (La Septième Marche, 2004), two books about Lawrence of Arabia with writer Tarek (Emmanuel Proust Éditions, 2007-2009) and his participation in collective works with erotic poems and comics about The Doors.

Since 2007, he regularly works with Delphine Le Lay, with whom he runs the publishing imprint Vanille Goudron. Horellou and Lay have created the comics 'Lyz et ses cadavres exquis' (Petit à Petit, 2010), 'Le Souffle Court' (Les Enfants Rouges, 2011) and the comics documentaries 'Plogoff' (Delcourt, 2013) and '100 maisons - La cité des abeilles' (Delcourt, 2015).
