Primarily known as a "good girl" artist, Adam Hughes has worked on a myriad of books. Born in Riverside, New Jersey, Hughes began his career in the late 1980s for indie publishers like Death Hawk, Eagle and Maze Agency. He then became a regular penciller for titles like DC's 'Justice League' and Dark Horse's 'Legionnaires' and ' Ghost'.
He was one of the original members of the Gaijin Studios in Atlanta, where he worked between 1991 and 2005. In 1996, he published the mini-series 'Gen 13: Ordinary Heroes'. Afterwards, he has worked primarly as a cover artist on titles like 'Wonder Woman', 'Vampirella', 'Tomb Raider', 'Catwoman' and 'X-Men Classic'.
