The Hunt for the Bismarck
Prasad Iyer is a freelance writer/artist for comic books and a resident of Mumbai (formerly Bombay), India. From an early age he could draw well, and as he grew up he found that he also had a talent for creating stories. Despite graduating with a degree in Chemistry from the University of Bombay, and subsequently acquiring a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management, he found the lure of comics to be too strong and made an entry into that field.
He has had hundreds of stories in the comics format published, most of them written (created and scripted) by himself, for, unlike most comic artists, he is also an accomplished writer with a flair writing for original stories. He was formerly the Associate Editor of Tinkle, India's foremost comics-based magazine. He used to write stories and draw for 'Kalia the Crow', the magazine's principal (and most popular) character. He has extensive knowledge of military history and has written and drawn many war stories in the comics format.
