'Mémoire de Cendres'.

Philippe Jarbinet was born in 1965 in the Belgian city of Liège, where he also attended the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc. He made his first comic story in cooperation with Franz under the pseudonym Jarbo in 1992. Jarbinet additionally participated in the artwork of Christian Godard's contemporary series 'Une Folie Très Ordinaire' between 2002 and 2004 and the collective World War I book 'Paroles de Poilus' in 2012. He also created the detective series 'Sam Bracken' between 2003 and 2006, and is the author of the World War II series 'Airborne 44' since 2008. Philippe Jarbinet is a part-time art teacher with the Académie René Defossez in Spa since 1990.
