Georges Jeanty was born in Brooklyn, New York and now lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia. He majored in Fine Arts from the Miami-dade University and had his first comic book, 'Paradigm', published by Caliber Comics in 1994. He then worked on the bad girl books for London Night Studios, working with characters like Poizon, Stryke and Razor. As a member of the Gaijin Studios he has worked with several underground comic book publishers. He eventually began a collaboration with DC Comics, and has worked on titles like 'Green Lantern', 'Superboy' and 'Superman'. Over at Marvel, he illustrated 'Bishop: The Last X-Man', 'Gambit', 'Deadpool' and 'Weapon X'. For Wildstorm Comics he has worked with Hollywood screenwriter John Ridley on the mini-series 'The American Way' (2006). Later on, he became the regular artist on Dark Horse's 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' title.
