Jeromeuh

Jeromeuh is a French self-taught cartoonist and graphic artist, who works for television, magazines and online media. He was born in Paris as the son of an Iranian father and a French mother. He has been posting his autobiographical work on his blog since 2007, dealing with his experiences as a trendy gay in the city, all with a good dose of self-mockery. A compilation of his best works was released by Delcourt under the title 'Les petites histoires viriles' in 2011.

He has furthermore participated in collective projects dealing with LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) rights and acceptance, such as 'Les Gens Normaux' (Casterman) and 'Projet 17 mai : 40 dessinateurs contre l'homophobie' (Des ailes sur un tracteur). He dealt with the same theme in his humorous book 'Un Garçon au Poil', about two homosexual men in search for true love (Jungle!, 2014). Jeromeuh has also drawn for the fanzine Rien à Voir and the magazines Têtu and Okapi.
