Søren Jessen was trained as an advertising artist. He has had several publications in Danish magazines, such as the Danish version of Métal Hurlant. Jessen also made several book covers for children's books. In the 1990s, he started the series 'Oscar og Villy Uhyre' ('Oscar and Villy the Monster'). Søren Jessen is also the author of the series 'Chips' in Computer World magazine.
