Viriconium, by Dieter Jüdt

Dieter Jüdt was born in Feuchtwangen. He took courses in construction drawing, and went to Trier in 1988 to study at the Fachhochschule Illustration. After completing his studies, he went to work as an independent artist in 1993. In 1995, he made a comic adaptation of a short story by Bruno Schulz ('Heimsuchung') for Feest Focus. He then went to work on a comic adaptation of M. John Harrison's 'Viriconium', which was published by Comicplus+ in 2000. That same year, he cooperated with Armin Martin on 'The Shaman's Blues'. In 2001, he participated in the launch of a role-playing game at the Verlag Feder & Schwert, for which he also drew the black-and-white comic book 'Engel - Pandoramicum' with a script by Kai Meyer. In 2003, he made 'Creatures of the Dreamseed'.
