Katti Ka-Batembo is one of the big names in Tanzanian campaign comics. He has illustrated numerous campaigns, from fire prevention to malaria. As a comic artist and cartoonist, he is mainly known for his 'Afro 1 & 11' comic album and 'The Disastrous Fire Campaign Comic'. He is the leading information campaign comic artist of the country and the chairman and founder of the Tanzanian Popular Media Association (TAPOMA). Ka-Batembo is active in agricultural instruction and health campaigning, as well as book illustration. Other comics by Katti Ka-Batembo are 'Mfalme Simba' and 'Degedege'.
