Akimine Kamijyo (a pen name) is a manga artist from the Kanagawa prefecture. His best known serial is 'Samurai Deeper Kyo', that appeared in Weekly Shônen Magazine between 1999 and 2006.
The artist has done his doujinshi work under the pen name Meika Hatagashira. In 2007 he began a new serial for Shonen, called 'Shirogane no Karasu' ('Silver Crow'), which was followed in 2008 by 'Code: Breaker'.
