Belgian artist Karo studied at the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc in Liège, before illustrating the index pages of Spirou magazine in 2002. She settled in Brussels, where she participated in the collective book 'Paroles de Sourds' with scriptwriter Corbeyran for Éditions Delcourt.
Together with Jean-Luc Cornette, she then made some short stories for Spirou, and they were also guest editors of a special issue of Spirou devoted to Vietnam. Her first book was 'Câlinée soux x' (Carabas, 2007), also in cooperation with Cornette. It was followed by 'Arthur et Janet' (Drugstore, 2009).
