Tore Knutsen is the artist of the 'Pia Zawa' series. The series, with a strong resemblance to 'Modesty Blaise', first appeared in Agent X9 at Semic in 1990. Soon followed a newspaper comic. Knutsen has also drawn 'Kvitebjørn Kong Valemon' in the Norwegian Mad Magazine.
