'Kaarib'. 

Jean-Paul Krassinsky was born in 1972 in Tegernsee, and spent his childhood in Paris. After studying art in Sorbonne and at the École Estienne, he started his career in illustrating. Especially his cover illustrations for novels by Terry Pratchett and David Calvo earned him fame. At the same time, he started drawing storyboards for advertising agencies, which he is still doing today.

'Canis Bellus'. 

In 1996, he co-founded graphic atelier Lion Vert, a designing collective for posters and games. In September 2000, his short comic story 'Les Aventures de Mich et Moch' appeared in the collection Tricycle. Krassinsky also contributes to magazine Casus Belli, where he draws the comic 'Canis Bellus'. In 2001, Krassinsky created, together with writer Calvo, the color album 'La Dernière Vague', the first episode of the series 'Kaarib'. Krassinsky lives and works in Paris.
