Magnus Kristensen was a Danish artist, who mostly signed with his initials, for the daily newspaper Familie-Journalen during the 1930s and 1940s. He additionally drew for the Danish humor magazine Klod Hans, and did illustrations for the books by Niels Meyns. For the P.I.B. agency in Copenhagen, he made comics versions of literature classics like 'Uncle Tom's Cabin', 'Treasure Island' and 'Les Misérables'. By the late 1940s, he switched to the Centropress agency, where he made comic strips with 'Old Shatterhand and Winnetou'.
