French illustrator G. L'Huer contributed to the picture story prints of the Imagerie Quantin in Paris (a.o. 'Le Rêve d'un Paresseux', 'Gabrielle la Boudeuse'). The stories, often fairy tales, were made in the tradition of the Images d'Épinal.
