'Les Aventures du Capitaine Nicolas Bonhomme'. 

Gui Laflamme is a Canadian comic artist. He was born in Saint-Hyacinthe, and eventually settled in Montréal. He studied at the School of Fine Arts, and published his first works in L'Oratoire, in cooperation with Fathers Emile Legault and Bernard Muchland. He worked as a portrait artist during World War II. He began his detective comic 'Guy Benoit' in Le Samedi in the 1950s.

In the 1970s, Laflamme drew 'Les Aventures du Capitaine Nicolas Bonhomme', published by Éditions Héritage. The series was based on the TV show 'Le Cirque du Capitaine' (1970-1973), in itself based on the popular childrens' books series, 'Nicolas Bonhomme', by Canadian comedian and novelist Michel Noël. Laflamme also worked for Le Grand Journal Illustré, making among others a comic about Elvis Presley in 1977.

Guy Laflamme passed away in 2005 at age 77.
