Jean-André Laville, who is best-known as simply Laville, is a French press illustrator, and one of the members of the collective Les Humoristes Associés. He made his debut by projecting his cartoons during performances of the French cabaret L'Écluse in 1967, and later also with La Tête de l'Art. His work for the press include contributions to Le Canard Enchaîné, Hara-Kiri, Libération, Le Monde, L'Express and Pilote. He was part of Les Humoristes Associés, a collective consisting of Laville, Barbe, Blachon, Bridenne, Loup, Mose, Napo, Nicoulaud, Sabatier, Serre, Siné, Soulas and Trez. Laville also performed as an actor in the TV series 'Les Bougon' in 2008.
