Gros Bois

Jérémy Le Corvaisier was born in Saint-Brieuc, in the Côtes-d'Armor department in Brittany. He studied Applied Arts in Tréguier, then Fine Arts in Rennes and finally Fashion Design in Nîmes. His first artistic endeavors were making embroidered cushions through Pépin Le Malin. He then ventured into filming, resulting in twenty short and a medium-length film titled '1979-2019'. He was also active for the theater company Le Joli Collectif, for which he made recordings, trailers and photos. He then studied in Lyon for a while and spent some time in Canada, before settling back in Rennes. It was there that he started making illustrations for the magazine Les Inrockuptibles, and where he first tried his luck with comic book art. His debut, the social chronicle 'Fastermarket', was published by Les Enfants Rouges in 2014. It was followed in that same year by his second graphic novel, 'Gros Bois'.
