Étienne Lécroart published from 1993 in several magazines, including Phosphore, Spirou, Lapin and Psikopat. He is a member of l'OUBAPO (OUvroir de BAndes dessinées POtentielles), a group of artists that likes to experiment with comics. For example, Lécroart has made a "palindrome" comic ('Cercle Vicieux'), which is a work that can be read both ways (from beginning to end or vice versa). More about these interesting experiments can be read at his website.
He made a graphic contribution to the book 'Françaises, Français, Belges, Belges, Lecteur Chéri, Mon Amour' (Jungle!, 2005), in which comic artists illustrated short stories by comedian Pierre Desproges.
