Xavier Lemmens is a comic artist from Liège, who also works under the penname Lem. Educated in comic art at the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc, he published his first work in fanzines like Mycose, Mococo and Le Vélo 33b. He subsequently made short stories for Spirou, and contributed to the British Fortean Times. He made his album debut with the detective comic 'The Mood', written by Yves Leclercq for Des Ronds dans l'O in 2006. He is a contributor to Fluide Glacial with series like 'Commando Torquemada' (with Philippe Nihoul) and 'Les Arrachés' (with Hugo Piette). He also worked with Nihoul on the series 'Snuff', of which two books were published by Delcourt in 2010 and 2012.
