Klaus Leven is a cartoonist, and the creator of the cartoon 'Joey and Gonz'. He is also the vice-president of Cartoonists Across America and the World, an organization that promotes reading. He does this in collaboration with other comic artists such as Phil Yeh, with whom he made a tour through Europe and the world, in which he promoted his violence free comics, under the motto "Bildet eine Welt von Lesern, Künstlern und Träumern" ("create a world of readers, artists and dreamers"). He wants to inspire kids to read, instead of watching television or playing video games.
