Gerardo Llobet Botey is a Catalan comic artist, cartoonist and writer, who worked for several alternative comic magazines since 1978. He wrote and drew pages with sexy humor in El Papus in the late 1970s and 1980s, and worked regularly as a writer for artist Santi Duran. Under the banner of "Llobet & Barretina" they published their black humor cartoons in Muchas Gracias, Troya, Harakiri, El Cuervo and Cul de Sac. Llobet has also written comics for the magazines Mata Ratos, El Jueves and Eh, for which he worked with artists like Rafael Losada, Fulgencio Cabrerizo and Santi Duran. From the mid 1980s he has been working for several TV production companies as writer and man of ideas.
