Kazuo Mafune is a Japanese mangaka, known for the medical drama serial 'Doctor K', that began publication in Shônen Magazine in 1988. The series has a couple of spin-offs, such as 'Super Doctor K' (1988) and 'K2' (2004). From July 2005 he has illustrated 'Ultraman Story 0', published in Magazine Z. Other manga by Mafune are 'Kae no Juushi' (2002) and 'Raijin - Rising' (2000).
