David Málaga, born in the La Victoria district, studied pharmaceuticals and began his career as a medical propagandist. In the 1950s, he created the character 'Serrucho', whose adventures appeared in the pages of newspaper Última Hora until 1974. In 1990, Málaga briefly revived his character for another appearance in Última Hora.
