Alexander Matthews is a British comic artist who has worked for The Dandy, The Beano, Private Eye and Reader's Digest, among other publications. He was present in DC Thomson's The Dandy from 2010 until the end of the magazine's print run in late 2012. He made the feature 'Robot on the Run', created the time-traveling wrestler 'Nuke Noodle', as well as the mini-strips 'Guitar Zero', 'I Pity the School' and 'You Took That Too Far'. He returned in the Digital Dandy with 'Bad Hair Day' in 2013.
He has also made mini comic strips for The Beano, such as 'Baby Face Finlayson' and 'Lord Snooty'. He also created 'Big Time Charlie' and drew 'Ball Boy' until 2013. Among Matthews' other work is writing 'Useleus', drawn by Wilbur Dawbarn, and writing and drawing 'Pow!' for The Phoenix.
