Carsten Mell has a bachelor's degree from Dusseldorf University of Applied Sciences and has worked as a professional illustrator since 1995. He is an illustrator whose credits range from children's candy displays to front covers of publications like Der Spiegel, Welt am Sonntag, Bild, Financial Times, FHM and Playboy. He has developed advertisements for Warner Bros, FC Bavaria Munich and Hamburg Freezers, among others. He is one of the artists of the erotic comic strip 'Rooie Oortjes'. He also draws comic strips for employer's magazines (Kaiser's Tengelmann AG., a.o.) and advertising comics ('Flatman', a.o.).
