Chiquitín (1929)
Méndez Álvarez was a Spanish illustrator and comic artists of the late 19th century. His comics work appeared in maghazines such as Blanco y Negro, a Madrid magazine of the 1890s, which also contained work by Joaquin Xaudaró, Apeles Mestres, Ramón Cilla, Mécachis, and Ángel Díaz Huertas. In the 19th century, he was present in magazines like Chiquitín and TBO.
