Vintilá Miháescu is a Romanian artist with a passion for graphic art, painting, waving tapestries, monumental and religious art. He was active as an innovative Romanian comic book artist for Cutezatorii magazine in the 1970s. One of his best known serials is 'Brigadier la 14 Ani', in which he incorporated a photo-realistic drawing style (scripts by Nicolae Tic).

He used several drawing styles for his other serials for the magazine, such as 'Operaţiunea Baraj' (1972), 'Noile isprăvi ale lui Dan Buzdugan' (1973), 'Columna in Milenii' (1976), 'Palosul Vitejiei' (1975), 'Dorobantii' (script Dumitru Almas, 1975), 'Măriuca' (1977) and 'Ciprian Porumbescu' (1983).
These comics were mostly (co-)signed by his wife Viorica Miháescu, with whom he shares a studio since 1973. This was largely for tax reasons, although Viorica has assisted her husband on the coloring and lettering of his comics. He has exhibited his fine art on several occasions in both group and solo expositions since the second half of the 1970s.
