'PRZ, The Prequel of the Prequel'.
Marian Mirescu studied Linguistics in his birthcity Craïova. He was as a teacher in French language until 1990, and has worked as a journalist since then. In comics, he made his debut in the local student's magazine Mesaj Comunist in 1983. He has subsequently made comic stories for children and adolescents, mainly published in Mini Azi, but also in Orion, Prichindel, Jurnalul SF, Carusel, Helion, and Rahan, as well as the anthologies Ramuri and Anticipaţia.
Mirescu is the editor of the fanzines Ah, BD! and Sanki, both from Craïova. He is also a promoter for young Romanian talent. Outside Romania, he has contributed to the US fanzine Attic Witt in 2003 and 2004, and to the Polish anthology Starouarzzz in 2006. In 2008 he wrote the script for 'Dracula', a comic story drawn by Cristian Păcurariu.
