Stefano Mirone was born in Milan, where he still lives and works. He got his degree in architecture. He started working in furnishing. In addition, he started to draw comics for several agencies and publishers. Mirone has drawn Disney comics for the Italian Disney magazine Topolino since 1990, and he also did illustrations for licensed articles with the characters. He drew several stories with 'Prezzemolo', 'Poochie' and 'Mastromaio', as well as 'Dodo', a character of the publisher Giorgio Mondadori. Mirone is a caricaturist for the Gazzetta dello Sport. While continuing his daytime job as an architect, he works as an artist for the advertising field.
