Boris Mirroir is a French comic book artist, who also works under the names BenGrrr and La Tête X. He was born in Rouen, where he also studied Fine Arts. He began his career as a 2D and 3D graphic artist for video games, and published his first comics in magazines like Spirou, Tchô, Science & Vie, Vers l'Avenir and Pif Gadget from 2004. He launched the satirical blogs Ottoprod Inc. with Laurent Percelay/James, with whom is also co-author of 'Sans Queue Ni Tête' (La Boîte à Bulles, 2005), 'Les Mauvaises Humeurs de James et la Tête X' (6 Pieds Sous Terre, 2007), 'Pathetik' (6 Pieds Sous Terre, 2010-12), 'Zzzwük' (Éditions Carabas, 2008) and 'Backstage' (Fluide Glacial/Audie, 2011).
Three books of his poetic, humorous and yet sad semi-autobiographical comic book series 'Notre Seul Ami Commun' were published by CFSL Ink in 2013. His graphic novel series 'SOB Comics' is published by Vide Cocagne since 2014. Under the name BenGrrr, he has worked as a colorist on several series, including 'Amour, Passion & CX Diesel' and 'Pif et Hercule'.
