Panagiotis Mitsobonos was born in Amfissa, Fokida, Greece, in 1958. He studied graphics at the Vacalo School of Arts (1977-1981) and painting at the Academia di Belli Arti in Florence, Italy (1982-1987). It was through his stay in Italy that he got in touch with European comic art. He has been working for comic magazine 9 and the Greek newspaper Eleftherotypia. Mitsobonos has had several solo exhibitions in Greece and Europe. His best-known comic books are 'Detective Fill Pot' and 'After Midnight and other Stories'. He lives in Athens, Greece.
