The Argentinian artist Christian Montenegro is one of the last disciples of Alberto Breccia. His work appeared in the El Tripero magazine, where he mostly made bizarre adaptations of literature classics. He has also drawn for magazines like Para Ti and Noticias, Lápiz Japonés. He is also active as an illustrator for several publishers (Aique Grupo Editor, Oxford) and organizations (Red Nacional de Hijos, Ministerio de Cultura y Educación de la Nación). His work has also appeared in Brazil (O Olho Magico), Mexico (Monográfico) and Spain (Napartheid).
