Search Me Pablo by Brodnax Moore
'Search Me? Pablo'. 

Brodnax Moore is a British cartoonist, filmmaker, photographer and painter. His cartoon work was first published in 1963 in Gong from Nottingham. From 1967 through 1970, he contributed cartoons regularly to Arrows from Sheffield with a two-page strip 'Brodnax Returns' in No 95.

In 1974, he organized a Comic Strip Event with Denis Gifford at Sheffield Polytechnic which included a touring exhibition of alternative comics from the USA. Issue No 2 of Extremes in Leeds featured his strip 'The Gods' and Street Comix No 2 in Birmingham printed 'Zippo Kunst in Smart Practice', a two-page spread that had been commissioned by Studio. Birmingham Arts Lab also published his one-page 'Donald's Kite'.

In 1977, 'Zippo' became a regular strip in the Yorkshire Arts Association monthly guide and the North West Arts Artful Reporter published 'Search Me? Pablo'. New Arts No 1 in Hebden Bridge carried 'To The Stars' in 1978. Then another regular strip called 'Winx' appeared monthly in the national Artists Newsletter for two years from 1982 on.

Moore produced general graphic design work for the theater companies Welfare State and IOU (1975-80), for the Halifax Health Education Centre (1983-85), the Hebden Bridge New Arts Association and Nursery Action Group. In 1986, he developed a four-page strip 'Smarty's Circus' for Escape but it wasn't used. Since then Moore has concentrated on short films, photography and painting.
