Dwi Santoso, who was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, was called Motulz by his friends after the car that had been his trusty companion for ten years. He left Jakarta in 1988, after graduating from High School, and started his study at a Senior High School in Bandung. After that, he studied at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), majoring in Product Design.
Dwi Santoso, using the pseudonym Anto Motulz, has created three comic publications: 'Join with Qomik Nasional' (1994), 'Kapten Bandung' (1995) and 'Molotov Indie-Komik' (1996).
