Joël Moundounga is a comic artist from Gabon. He started drawing comics when he was twelve years old, and has won many prizes since. He created the series 'Rat le Bol', which appears in magazine BD Boom, and 'Waf le Chien' for magazine Planète Enfants. He has contributed to 'A L'Ombre du Baobab', a collection of comics by African artists about education and health in Africa, for which he created the story 'Kengué', to draw attention to the position of women. He is also the president of the organization BD Boom.
