Kreyon Noir #1

Born in Fort-de-France, Martinique, Carlo Nayaradou began his career working for the France Antilles newspaper. Together with his brother Bruno, he started making amateur comics. By 1973, he joined M.G.G. (Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyane) and later Colik Blag Bô Kay, in which he published his first comic stories and humorous illustrations. He was eventually also present in Hibisous and Télé-Vue. Together with his brother he published one issue of Un je ne sais quoi de... 97-2 in 1976. In 1983 he became art director for M.G.G. and Colik, while he also contributed 'Justice d'Outre-Tombe' to Fouyaya. Nayaradou launched the magazine Kréyon Noir in 1995. He serves as it's editor-in-chief and primary scriptwriter, working with artists like Ti-Loulou, Chantal Caraman, Fabrice Ragot, Lamu, Tony Vivien and Jack Exily. Carlo Nayaradou is also a songwriter.
